Panasonic‘s Chip Magneto Resistors change their resistance value in accordance with changes in intensity of the surrounding magnetic field.
This type, EZMPL, is a reliable cintactless sensor for detecting the number of rotations, rotation angle and direction of rotations.

Furthermore Panasonic offers Magneto Resistive Elements (MR Elemenets). These EZMP MR Elements are frequency generating sensors using a magneto resistive element that can be used for magnets printed at a density of 0.1mm to 1.0mm. By using this element, very accurate detection becomes feasible for various applications.
