Panasonic Surface Mount Film Capacitors offer stable capacitance and temperature characteristics, tight tolerances, low ESR, low dissipation factors, no shock noise, no piezoelectric effect and no audible noise. Surface Mount Film Capacitor applications include DC blocking and filtering, PLL, audio, DC/DC converter and back lighting.

Also Leaded Film Capacitor offers a wide variety from Metallized Polyester, Metallized Polypropylene, PPS Film, AC Capacitors to X Caps. Panasonic Leaded Film Capacitors can be used as X Caps in AC/DC Circuits and are recommended for all general electronic applications.

ECPU (A) series realize the super downsizing & big capacity with
     plastic dielectric formed by vacuum vapor deposition.

ECHU (X), ECWU (X) series solves the chip standing problem of
     reflow by improving the electrode structures.

ECWF (A), ECWF (D), ECWFE, ECQUA series realize the further
     downsizing and high safety comparing with conventional products
     with original vapor deposition pattern technology (fuse function).

✔ ECWH (A) series realize the low buzzing & high performance with
     original vapor deposition film structure.

Technology

High Safety and Down-Sized Film Capacitor
ECWF(A), ECWF(D), ECWFE, ECQUA Series

Contributes to downsizing and high reliability of equipments by realizing further downsizing and high safety comparing with conventional & competitor's products.
Realized high safety and down-sizing with original vapor deposition pattern technology that separate the vapor deposition film into cells with fuse function in each of it. When the fuse of one cell is cut off caused by certain breakdown, the capacitor maintains its function and the thin-film can still be used.
