Secondary Batteries (Rechargeable Batteries): Coin-type Rechargeable Lithium

Coin-type Rechargeable Lithium design engineers Panasonic

Panasonic rechargeable Lithium coin batteries are designed chiefly for memory back-up applications such as computers, mobile phones, real time clocks (RTC) etc. These high quality batteries stay reliable through many charge-discharge cycles, boast a very low self-discharge rate and deliver superior long-term steadiness. Last but not least our production experience of Lithium rechargeable coin batteries exceed more than a couple of decades.

Series/TypeImageOverview

Coin type rechargeable lithium batteries (VL series)Vanadium rechargeable lithium batteries
These completely new coin-type lithium batteries feature vanadium oxide for the positive pole,
lithium alloy for the negative pole and a non-aqueous solvent for the electrolyte.
Coin type rechargeable lithium batteries (ML series)Manganese rechargeable lithium batteries
These super compact lithium rechargeable batteries can easily
be incorporated into circuits where 3V ICs are used to save space.
They are suitable for memory back up power supplies for cellular phones.
Coin type rechargeable lithium batteries (MS series)Manganese silicon rechargeable lithium batteries
These coin-type manganese silicon rechargeable lithium batteries are small but high capacity rechargeable batteries using silicon for the negative pole.
Compared to VL/ML series, MS series has over 100 full-charging and discharging cycle characteristics.
MS series are suitable for backup batteries such as memory and RTC backup.
Coin type rechargeable lithium batteries (CTL series)Cobalt titanium rechargeable lithium batteries
These cobalt titanium rechargeable lithium batteries have excellent cycle characteristics.
Compared to MT series, CTL series can keep higher voltage(2.3V).
CTL series have long term reliability, that is why many solar watches use CTL series.
Coin type rechargeable lithium batteries (MT series)Manganese titanium lithium rechargeable batteries
These coin-type manganese titanium lithium coin batteries provide a capacity
which is over 10 times higher than that of capacitors of the same size.
They are suitable for main power supplies in compact products as watches.
