Presentation of the Panasonic Sales Award at the 30th Battery Family Meeting
Hamburg, 12th October 2018: Panasonic once again recognizes the outstanding performance of its sales partners with the Battery Sales Award. The award, which spans several categories, is traditionally presented at the annual Battery Family Meeting. In addition to the award, there were two more occasions to celebrate this year: Panasonic’s 100th anniversary, and the 30th anniversary of the sales partner event.
Panasonic Sales Award – the winners in 2018
The highlights of the Battery Family Meeting regularly include the presentation of awards to the ten leading distributors for sales increases in different areas or for especially successful sales activities. In 2018 the main awards went to Jauch Quartz GmbH in the category “Lithium Primary Batteries”, Tempoel Lda in the category “Ni-MH Batteries” and Avnet Abacus in the category “Panasonic Promotion”. The other winners are Omnitron Griese GmbH, Wamtechnik Sp. z o.o., TORRICELLA srl, Rutronik Elektronische Bauelemente GmbH, Fey Elektronik GmbH, Omnitron s.r.o., ACTEC A/S, Arrow Central Europe GmbH, Corbelli elettronica snc and JK-electronic GmbH. “Our dedicated partners are an important part of Panasonic’s successful one-hundred-year history. The Sales Award is our way of thanking our distributors for their outstanding performance”, explains Oliver Sonnemann, Sales & Marketing Director for Batteries.
Regular event for top sellers
In the battery division Panasonic Industry Europe GmbH strives for a close relationship to the company’s business partners, who meet every year for the Battery Family Meeting. Since 1989 the event takes place annually at changing locations throughout Europe. The focus is on new products, as well as strategies and goals for the coming business year. This year, 90 partners met on September 20 not only for the valuable information offered, but also to take advantage of the many opportunities for intensive encounters. The double anniversary celebration was concluded by launching a drone that documented the event with a spectacular group photo.
